Cottage Opening - 2014
Because of the really long winter and flooding along the cottage road, the cleanup, and maintenance at the camp has been put off until June. The new window for the sauna has been purchased and is stored in Kaili's garage until we can do the installation. David picked up a new pump last fall, but before we install it, I suspect it would be smart to build a new pump shack for it on the back of the camp. I also found a really good water filter for the sediment in the water. I plan to order one from the U.S. as it looks like it would last for years, and doesn't need cartridges. That would allow us to use the charcoal filters for much longer before they needed replacing.
